Tom Heap wins TV show for WFN

We were thrilled to watch Tom Heap, best known for presenting BBC One’s ‘Countryfile’, win the recent ‘Pointless Celebrities’ show and announce Whitley Fund for Nature as his chosen charity to receive his winnings!

Tom, a long standing WFN supporter, took part in the Pointless Celebrities show last weekend on BBC One, teaming up with Jules Hudson. This special ‘outdoors’ themed episode included various wildlife TV presenters including Chris Packham and Martin Hughes-Games, Miranda Krestovnikoff and Paul Heiney, and Naomi Wilkinson and Bill Oddie.

We are delighted that Tom and Jules made it to the final round, hitting the Jackpot of £2,500 which was shared between their two named charities and we are truly grateful that Tom decided to support us in this unique way.

A big thank you to Tom Heap!
