We’re hiring!

If you have experience in communications and office administration and are looking to support grassroots conservation efforts, then consider applying for this new role at WFN!

We are seeking a proactive and organised individual with experience in communications and an interest in wildlife conservation to support WFN across digital and social media platforms, as well as supporting office administration and event organisation.

The Communications Assistant will report to the Head of Communications, dividing their time by working on communications 3 days per week and office administration and charity events 2 days per week.

ABOUT The Role

If you have a flair for communications, want to help protect our planet and are seeking to gain first-hand experience working for a UK-based conservation charity, then this could be the perfect role for you.

WFN’s communications seek to amplify the work of winners, raise the profile of the charity, bolster fundraising efforts and contribute to global conservation conversations. Through management of social media platforms, delivery of communications campaigns during the lead up to events, PR support, and more, the Communications Assistant will play a key role in helping to promote the work of the charity and of the Whitley Award winners.
