Major Donors

Major Donors play a vital role in enabling the Whitley Fund for Nature to deliver conservation impact at scale.

Our Major Donors directly support the most innovative local conservation leaders, enabling them to scale up proven solutions that protect some of the most vulnerable species and their habitats globally – for nature, for people, and for our planet.

WFN’s Major Donors gain unique insight through exclusive events, behind-the-scenes access to WFN’s conservation partners and their work, and opportunities to connect with a community of informed, like-minded supporters helping to shape the future of global conservation. Major Donors can also sponsor WFN events and in some cases, a coveted Whitley Award presented annually by HRH The Princess Royal.

Every grant we award is made possible through the generosity and commitment or our supporters. As our network of conservationists continues to grow, so too does their need for our support. These grassroots leaders are facing increasing challenges: funding for conservation is contracting globally, while the pressures on habitats and biodiversity are intensifying.

We are seeking to increase the number of Major Donors working alongside WFN. Can you join us?

If you’d like to explore what Major Donor partnership could look like, we’d welcome a conversation. Please get in touch with Yasemin Ulusoy, Head of Partnerships, at [email protected] or +44 (0)20 7221 9752.

Thank you to all of our existing Major Donors listed below as well as those who wish to remain anonymous.
