The 2014 Whitley Awards Ceremony – the 21st of these awards – was held on the 8th of May at The Royal Geographical Society in London. The Ceremony was hosted by wildlife TV personality, Kate Humble, with the Whitley Awards presented to the winners by WFN Patron, HRH The Princess Royal. WFN trustee, Sir David Attenborough was also in attendance and met with the winners. In total, £330,000 in project funding was awarded to support conservation work in 8 countries.
