We are thrilled to have surpassed our goal of raising £100,000 through the UK’s biggest match-funding scheme
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised £102,910 at the beginning of December, courtesy of 81 donors who were match funded.
The funds we have raised together through the Big Give Christmas Challenge will help to support our 2023 Continuation Funding winners: Whitley Award alumni who are poised to scale-up successful projects.
In 2022, Continuation Funding grants benefitted more than 334,000 people across 30,000 km² of the Global South. Eleven past Whitley Award winners received this urgently needed project funding to scale up their work and address new challenges, including; habitat restoration, carbon sequestration, community-based training and education, health and women in society, policy and species advocacy.
