Outstanding contributions to conservation
Each year a Whitley Award alumnus is chosen to receive the Whitley Gold Award in recognition of their outstanding contribution to conservation.
Whitley Gold Award winners are international advocates for biodiversity, and through the work of their NGO are inspiring large-scale change.
The winning NGO receives £120,000 in funding. The Whitley Award alumnus and up to two team members are invited to join us in London for the Whitley Awards week, where they act as a mentor to that year’s cohort of Whitley Award winners, and receive media training and PR opportunities.
