Recent press coverage of our winners!

The Whitley Award has become a highly coveted conservation prize helping conservationists to raise their profile within their own country but also internationally. During the Awards week, WFN provides focussed professional media and speech training to aid winners in communicating their work more effectively. This builds confident and articulate conservationists who are ambassadors of their work, which in turn enables them to inspire further philanthropic support.

We also work with a PR agency to secure media coverage both in the UK and in winners’ home countries. In 2015, coverage received by our winners reached new heights with 205 news items across the globe. A dossier of recent coverage can be downloaded here: UK and International Media Coverage Dossier
