Right now, conservationists around the world are working harder than ever to protect wildlife and the ecosystems we all depend on.
Yet many conservation leaders are facing mounting challenges, from extreme weather events to increasing pressure on funding. By fundraising for the Whitley Fund for Nature, you can stand with them, and keep vital conservation work going.
Whether you’re taking on a sponsored run, organising a bake sale, or creating your own challenge, every penny you raise will help conservation leaders create lasting impact for people and nature.
We’re here to support you with ideas, advice and resources to make your fundraising efforts a success.
HOW YOUR FUNDRAISING CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
WFN exists to champion local conservation leaders. The money you raise helps us give them what they need to scale up proven solutions – combining funding, visibility and strategic support to maximise their impact.
Here’s how the money you raise could be put to work:
- £300 could purchase two camera traps to monitor Endangered brown spider monkeys in Colombia.
- £1,200 could construct a canopy bridge in the Amazon, giving wildlife a safe route across dangerous roads and reducing vehicle collisions.
- £3,200 could provide a year’s worth of equipment for rangers protecting Sumatran rhinos in Indonesia.
- £5,500 could support 25 Community Rangers to monitor and protect the wetland habitat of the Grey Crowned Crane in Rwanda for a whole year.
