The Whitley Awards week is about much more than just the Awards Ceremony. During their trip to London, our finalists meet Whitley Fund for Nature donors and supporters, network with leading conservation organisations and academics, and participate in professional trainings on media and communications, conflict resolution, and monitoring and evaluation. They also have opportunities to be interviewed by journalists throughout the week. All of these events are designed to help our winners leverage the profile boost that comes with receiving a Whitley Award, make new connections in the sector, and provide them with the tools they need to carry out their Whitley Award project successfully on the ground.
