Whitley Awards Ceremony 2020 Postponed

We regret to share that in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have made the unprecedented decision to postpone the Whitley Awards Ceremony and related events until this autumn. We’re incredibly disappointed, but protecting the health and wellbeing of our Award winners, supporters and everyone we work with is paramount. We would like to thank you for your understanding in these uncertain times.

We will still be announcing our 2020 Whitley Award winners and Gold Award winner on the 29th April, although they won’t be with us in London.  Please stay tuned to our website and social media channels for exciting digital content to be released about these inspiring conservationists and their important work!

Should the situation allow we look forward to welcoming the new Award winners to the UK in late 2020 to celebrate their achievements, and to provide them with the training and networking opportunities that form an integral part of receiving a Whitley Award.

We thank all of you for your continued support of WFN and our winners as we respond to this challenge in what is a milestone year for biodiversity and the conservation of our planet.
