About the Event

Explore the reality of working in conservation through this fireside chat with Patrícia Medici, Co-Founder of Brazilian NGO IPÊ and Founder of the Lowland Tapir Conservation Initiative, and Angela Maldonado, Founder and Director of Fundación Entropika. Both are recipients of the prestigious Whitley Gold Award and have dedicated their lives to protecting endangered species and ecosystems.

This event, moderated by Earth Minutes, will delve into their incredible journeys, highlighting the challenges they’ve faced and the impact they’ve made on the frontlines of conservation, and will feature special guest, environmentalist and author Bella Lack — Youth Director of Reserva: The Youth Land Trust (read about Bella in The Guardian).
