On Wednesday 1st May, 7.30pm BST, we will announce and celebrate the winners of the 2024 Whitley Awards at a ceremony in London, hosted by WFN Ambassadors Tom Heap and Kate Humble and attended by the charity’s Patron, HRH The Princess Royal.

WFN's top prize is awarded annually to a Whitley Award alumnus who has also received Continuation Funding. This laddered support allows successful conservation solutions to be scaled up; Shivani is a Kenyan conservationist whose work with her team of Samburu warriors, elders and women has helped the local lion population rise to a 15-year high.
