Why we're proud to show our rainbow stripes this June.
For the month of June, our orange spot will be a rainbow spot, in recognition of WFN’s central belief that inclusivity, diversity and equality are inextricable from any meaningful endeavour to conserve global biodiversity.
The office team, working from home over the past year, have keenly felt the importance of the workplace to our mental wellbeing. As we begin to reconnect in person, it has never felt more vital that our office environment unreservedly celebrates the LGBTQI+ community and all that its members contribute to WFN.
Further afield, as a charity supporting wildlife conservationists who are working with communities in their home countries, WFN values the strength that comes with diversity. We stand in solidarity with Whitley Award winners around the world, particularly those facing public perspectives different than our own in the UK, understanding that the climate and biodiversity crises need every one of us to work together to secure a just future for wildlife, ecosystems, and society.
